Venous diseases are becoming more and more frequent. An increasing number of people suffer from varicose veins, chronic venous stasis and, as a result, venous ulcers. Thus it is increading important for physicians and surgeons to make an accurate and early diagnosis of weaknesses in the vein wall, and for nurses to effect and monitor the care plan.
